For the first seven years, he worked as a sell-side analyst at Rothschild & Co Redburn covering European automakers, trucks, and suppliers. He authored his final initiation report, titled “Chasing Tesla,” in early 2017.

Over the following seven years, Martin served as Tesla's Vice President of Investor Relations. During his tenure, Tesla achieved the #1 ranking in the Institutional Investor survey for the Autos industry, including top recognition for categories such as Best IR Professional, Best IR Program, Best Investor Day, and Best Impact Report. Tesla's share price rose roughly 12x during this period.

At Tesla, he collaborated closely with the CFO, CEO, Board of Directors, and various executives, advising about automotive industry trends and overhauling the IR strategy from ground up.

Martin currently serves on the advisory board of Draslovka, a chemical technology company and Skyryse, an aviation software company.
